Membership Application 2004-2005

The Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship are the foundation of achieving success in business and life.  Lombard initiated Character Education in Dupage County and has served as a model for other communities.  By becoming a member of the CHARACTER COUNTS! Business Team you are joining with other Lombard community organizations that are part of the CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition in their efforts to impart the importance of the ethical principals embodied in the Six Pillars of Character.  Your business will be recognized in the community as an advocate of character values in the work place. Membership dues are tax deductible as a charitable donation (we have 501(C)(3) status).

Membership dues are $25.00 a year.

Membership benefits include: CHARACTER COUNTS! window decal for your business window, CHARACTER COUNTS! Pledge certificate, and a listing in periodical newspaper ads and other community newsletters.
