Lombard displaying the pillars during CHARACTER COUNTS! Week Lombard CHARACTER COUNTS! Activities - 2004-2005
On October 20, the Lombard CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition held a Family Fun Night to celebrate National CC! Week. The activities took place at Glenbard East High School.
Events that evening included:
Silent Auction - Auctioned items included bird houses decorated by various students and service organizations in the Village of Lombard.
Carnival Games - Westlake Middle School Students ran the free carnival for younger children to practice their skills.
Music to Your Ears - Glenbard East High School students provided a variety of musical entertainment throughout the event.
3 on 3 Basketball - Community members competed in a mini-tournament.
Fantastic Food - Local restaurants wereon site to serve up an inexpensive dinner for families. Texan BBQ; Gianirio's; That's 'N Ice.
Puppet Shows - Glenbard East Theater presented puppet shows at 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00.
